Mr. BetanCourt's first business endeavor came in the summer of 1972. He joined a group of businessman that started and operated a gas station and carwash in the Salinas Valley. Then came the nation-wide gas crisis of 1973 and with soaring oil prices and long lines came feelings of bewilderment and future uncertainties in the economy. "I got my first taste of the business blues, which left me pondering about my future." Yet determined to succeed Mr. BetanCourt clearly defined a new "game plan" and strategy for success and purpose in business.

Realizing it takes more than desire and enthusiasm to make your life successful, and after much reflection, Mr. BetanCourt thought back to his school years when he worked as a janitor after school.

He recalled the rewarding sense of fulfillment and accomplishment that it gave him, and realized just how important a healthy and clean-indoor environment is to people.

From a business standpoint he saw just how "recession proof" the cleaning industry is and so in August of 1974 he started Betancourt Janitorial. In 1992 Betancourt Janitorial Services became FreshX High-Tec Cleaning, Inc., and the rest is history.

Our motivating mission is to have a FreshX franchise business in every major city accross America, thereby fulfilling a great need for customer service.

We are looking for those with the drive and the vision. Fear and uncertainties were my greatest motivators, it gave me the desire and drive that lead me to success and happiness. My greatest accomplishments and fulfillments have been being able to afford to educate and provide a comfortable living for my children and other family members, while at the same time enjoying the opportunity to help others achieve their own success.

This is the driving force that still drives me today, and it has been made possible by making the right choice of career in the cleaning industry. Perhaps you are now pondering with the same anxieties and uncertainties I once faced. I can't force you or decide for you, that is your decision. What I can say and what I will do is this, if you join us I can inspire you and help you avoid errors and correct weaknesses so you will be able to run your very own FreshX franchise. You will begin to see yourself and your business changing, growing, achieving, and winning.

In life there are roadblocks, and at times those keep us from making wise decisions, blinding us of who we are, who to trust, even what to say or do. Than without notice fear, uncertainties, anxieties, start to creep in. These are just emotions. Winners don't give in to those emotions they use them for motivation I along with Kani development Inc. will stand by you and help you improve. Kani's mission statement is very clear as to what we stand for, "Constant and Never-Ending Improvement".
